Casa de la Ciudad

The Casa de la Ciudad was inaugurated on January 17, 2004 through an agreement between the Municipality of Oaxaca and the Alfredo Harp Helú Oaxaca Foundation, the municipality providing the historic building and the FAHHO its operation. The parties were convinced of the need for a center dedicated to the study and analysis of the city. The City House is a space open to the general public, where everyone can find information about the origin, development and conservation of the City of Oaxaca. It serves as a constant forum for the analysis of current urban development and its impact on the dynamics of city dwellers.
