Museo Comunitario JnaNiingüi
The museum is housed in an outstanding 16th-century building, formerly the home of the community's cacique. The introductory room presents historical photographs of agriculture, sports, music and festivals of the population. The temporary room shows palm weaving, including the manufacturing process, the uses of the products and the related traditions. The third room contains paleontological remains, an archaeological collection, and a reproduction of two codices that represent the mythological origins and boundaries of the community in pre-Hispanic times.
